Alison Smith, affectionately known as Ali, turned to Modern Jive, from Classical and Jazz Ballet, in 2005. Ali's love for and commitment to Modern Jive have led her to become one of Adelaide's most successful and most admired Modern Jive dancers and teachers.

 

Ali and Craig SCHUBERT won the Top Gun Intermediate Modern Jive competition in 2006, as well as the Advanced Modern Jive division of the Australasian Rock'n'Roll Championships in 2007. Also in 2007, Ali and her sister Samantha SMITH placed in the Battle of the Sexes division of the Victorian Modern Jive Championships.

Ali is an inspiritational dancer and teacher. She has taught at two Modern Jive schools previously, and has finally found her niche at THIRD FOOT (ADELAIDE), a school which shares and supports her commitment to excellence, and fun! And, we're pleased to have her on board.
